Any of Appeal’s stunning Haus Awnings® is sure to transform your home. But with three distinct design options to choose from, how can you tell them part and discern which is right for you?
The H1650 Awning extends out of your property with a discreet, wall-mounted cassette. It’s regarded as our most compact model, with a 3m projection and a maximum width of 5.5m. So it’s perfect for modestly sized properties and space-conscious homeowners looking to maximise their outside space’s potential.
Compared to the H1650, the H2450 boasts a slightly increased projection of 3.5m and a width of up to 7m. This is our middle option when it comes to these specifications, and it’s still completely bespoke to suit your needs.
This is the leading model in our Haus Awnings® range, with a projection of up to 4m and a width of up to 6.5m. It’s as easy to operate as it is to maintain, so it will last you many years. With over 150 fabric patterns 200 frame colours to choose from the options are almost endless.
When an awning gets fully retracted, they get held inside a “Cassette” and each cassette has its own level of protection based on which category it falls into:
Full Cassettes:
Completely covers and protects the awning once retracted. Ideal for areas that get snow and harsh weather environments.
Half/Semi Cassettes:
As the name implies, it only covers half of of the awning’s materials. Ideal for the typical amount of British weather and commonly has upgrade options.
Open Cassettes:
It exists to only hold the materials in place but leaves it open to the elements. It’s the most affordable cassette but only recommended for sunny areas.

When Purchasing an Awning – you may find that there are certain words that installers use that you may come across that you may not have come across before. So we’ve put together an all-in-one dictionary for when it comes to buying a Haus Awning:
Projection:
Projection is the terminology used when describing how far in length your awning goes from your home. Not to be confused with the length of fabric because of the degree it slopes down.
Pitch:
The angle at which your Haus Awning is installed in.
Drop Forging:
The method used to create the Haus Awning’s metal components. Done by hammering red hot metal into the correct shape to form a component. The result is a metal part that’s tougher than die casting.
Die Casting:
A method other Awning manufacturers use to quickly create their products by pouring molten metal into a mold. This method makes an awning vulnerable to air bubbles and structural degradation.
Abrasion Resistance:
The Awning’s capability to combat wear & tear caused by friction.
Spinneret:
The dyeing process which is used to colour our fabrics.
