What is the NSBRC?

The National Self-Build and Renovation (NSBRC) is the only permanent venue of its kind in the UK, home to self-builders, home renovators, trade industry experts, and all things home improvement. It’s a place that hands out industry expert advice for the many thousands of self-builders, renovators, and home improvers here in the UK to advance their self-building journey.

When we set up our October stand at NSBRC, we felt right at home alongside people looking to improve theirs. Without so much as a second thought, we got straight to arranging a permanent stand at the only hub of its kind.

What We Will Be Exhibiting

We will not only be offering advice lines from our trade industry experts, but we’ll also be bringing the best and latest in our shading technology which we’ve all hand-picked with the DIY-ers and self-builders in mind:

ULTRA Smart Roller Blinds

We thought ahead and decided to open with our most user-friendly and multi-purpose Ultra Smart Roller Blinds.

Smart Phone Compatibility

One of the key purposes is to cut down the effort needed to operate the blinds in the first place. So rather than scurrying to find a remote or get tethered to a wall-mounted panel, we’ve made sure that we have a product that you can access from your back pocket without having to leave your seat.

Our Shading App is available both on Google Play and The App Store for you to configure with just a few taps on your screen.

Voice Activation

We wanted our automatic blinds to be truly “automatic”. With that in mind, the ULTRA® PLUS Smart Blinds are now voice-activated for anyone with an Amazon Alexa and Google Nest Device.

Automated Smart Blinds Options

If you’re an individual who thrives off routines then the automation options available allow you to time which times the blinds get shut or opened. Or even if you’re a person who’s sharp and reactive, these blinds can automatically react to different temperatures and react with their day and night mode options.

ClearView Gable End Blinds

These blinds were made with 2 things in mind: unobstructed views and thermal efficiency.

When these gable blinds are opened and retracted, left with completely unobstructed views, perfect for houses that were made to show off their sightlines.

However, the magic happens when they’re completely extended. We tested these blinds on a single glazed window (which for those who don’t know has a far worse thermal efficiency than double glazing) and we found that the blinds reduce heat gain by up to 78%! This means that regardless of the heatwave season, your conservatory or room will sit at the perfect temperature during summer.

ULTRA® Smart Options Available

The ClearView blinds are completely compatible with The Ultra Smart options we mentioned previously.

Our ClearView™ Gable End Blinds can be supplied with our ULTRA® Smart options. This makes it possible to control the blinds with a wall-mounted panel or a remote. We also provide a ULTRA® PLUS version that enables voice activation, tablet, and smartphone control.

You may quickly and easily retract your ClearView Gable End Blinds with a remote that is simple to use for all users. Chains or cords that hang loose and present a risk are unnecessary.

ClearView Lantern Roof Blinds

Our ClearView Blinds are also available for roof lanterns, with added features. The roof blind is a completely cordless unit, as is the case with our Clearview Blinds. Promoting a safer environment for children and pets alike. In addition to their smooth closing function, their hexagonal honeycomb cell structure makes for one of the most aesthetically pleasing designs available on the market.
