We’ve worked on hundreds of projects here at Appeal Home Shading. Over the years, we’ve installed blinds, awnings and insect screens in all manner of properties. We’ve combined roller blinds and fly screens in riverside properties, installed automated blinds in retirement homes, fitted Haus Awnings to patios and many more besides. And we thought it was time we started focusing on specific examples.

So, without further ado, we’d like to introduce the case studies section of the Appeal Home Shading website. In this new feature, we’ll be taking regular looks at some of the jobs we’ve been involved in. We’ll be including projects from years gone by, as well as more recent ones. We want to showcase how proud we are of our work and hopefully inspire a few new ideas too.

Diverse Shading Options

We’ve already started populating this new section and have several case studies to share. For example, check out the shaped window and door blinds from our Dartmouth project. This one took us to the picturesque surroundings of the Devonshire coast and was extremely rewarding. This customer needed carefully made, bespoke blinds for their distinctive windows and as you can see from the photos, the results are stunning. Their new blinds were integrated with a Home Automation system, giving them better control over their household temperature without sacrificing on style.

Alternatively, have a look at our Essex case study for a great example of how replacement blinds can transform a home. This customer already had blinds installed, but they were showing their age and were no longer at their best. We swapped them for a new set of French Pinoleum blinds in a lighter, natural colour. Their conservatory now looks incredible and even has a slightly tropical atmosphere.

Insect Screens And More

Our window blinds will be getting a lot of attention, but they’re not the only thing we have to showcase. We also want to highlight some of our insect screen installations, like our Romsey project. This particular example shows how discreet fly screens can be. You could easily look at those photos and not realise there was a mesh screen there.

This customer lived in a delightful rural area but had to put up with lots of flies, especially in the warmer months. Thanks to their new ClearVu micro-mesh insect screens, they no longer have to worry about swarms of unwanted guests flying into the house. Insect screens have risen in popularity in the UK these past few years and this case demonstrates what a difference they can make.

We’ll have more stylish and cutting-edge installations to show off in the coming months, so keep your eyes open for the next ones. And if they leave you feeling inspired, why not get started on your own home improvement project? You can download a brochure to learn more about our products or book a design consultation. Let’s see what we can create together.
